Field work with students is focused on:

• Museum of the History of NSU;

• existing centers of the Institute for Human Problems named after academician PT Tronko;

• The local history club "Faces";

• The Ukrainian club "Jerelo";

• The sociological club "Solaris";

• Military history club named Captain A. Graznova;

• A discussion club;

• Cinema Club;

• The club of the historical dance "Echo of."

In addition to club work at the department actively carried out:

• round tables;

• disputes;

• student Conference;

• meetings with prominent figures of science, culture, and government officials.

The department maintains close ties with many cultural institutions in the city, region, Ukraine, and conducts outreach activities in libraries, schools and other educational institutions.
